The Galerstein Gender Center (GGC), under the Office of Diversity and Community Engagement, has been in existence since 1996. We advocate and support women, LGBT+ people and all communities facing oppression. Our programs are intersectional and delivered through educational workshops, lectures, leadership development, advising, resource referral, celebratory programs and advocacy. We also offer scholarships, volunteer opportunities, and organizational advising.
In the GGC you will find meeting and study space and the GGC Resource Collection, which contains a number of books on feminism and gender diversity. We are also home to the first dedicated lactation space on campus for parents who are nursing. We invite you to visit the GGC and find out how you can become involved.
