Galerstein Gender Center

National Coming Out Day (Virtual – October 9, 2020)

The Galerstein Gender Center is *virtually* celebrating National Coming Out Day on Friday, Oct. 9, 2020. National Coming Out Day is a day dedicated to raising awareness of civil rights for the LGBTQ+ community.

We provided a space for anyone to share their coming out story in person or anonymously. The goal is to foster an inclusive environment on campus where students, staff and faculty of all gender identities/expressions and sexual orientations feel included and affirmed. NCOD is a time of celebration of embracing one’s self authentically.

The video is live and up on our YouTube Channel!
